Lumen was established in Saint-Eustache in 1962. Since 1984, the company has been a member of the Sonepar Group, the world’s largest privately-held electrical distributor. The power of this international network allows Lumen to offer not only the most comprehensive range of products in the industry, but also the latest technological innovations.

Lumen was looking to move its head office and distribution centre to Laval. Previously located in Pointe Claire, Quebec, Lumen built its new distribution center on close to one million square feet of land. The LEED-certified structure houses an administration centre of 80,000 sq. ft. and a warehouse of 305,000 sq. ft. The site also allows for possible expansion of 140,000 sq. ft.

For this client, we had to create an environment that reflects their corporate image and suggest conceptual areas highlighting the architectural structure while reflecting the environmental requirements of the LEED certification in our specifications.
