Challenges
Redesign the existing building; plan and develop the expansion; unify the visual style and ambiance of the complex as a whole; create an atmosphere that complements the culture and environment of the community and its retirees.
Solution
A retirement residence that expands? A2 has many years of experience with such projects, ranging from relatively minor upgrades to full-scale expansions. For this complex, A2 brought together its internal capabilities in architecture, design and project coordination to deliver a fully integrated “single-source” design solution.
Results
The design of the complex reflects the image of the community – welcoming, homey and extremely convivial – and delivers sustained 100% occupancy.
