Tuesday, 13 december 2011

Tourisme Laval

It’s on December 1st 2011 that Tourisme Laval officially inaugurated at their new location in Centropolis. About one hundred guests discovered the new concept of interior design that will welcome visitors and tourists alike to the Laval area.

Under a rain of applause all professionals involved in the project were thanked for their input, their cohesion and their strategic vision. A2 Design knew , once again, how to amaze, seduce by their ; creative talent, actual design, freshness and especially, by their hunger to constantly please the client, as much as the visitor, without forgetting the employees who will work there.  A2 Design knew how to integrate with a special zeal the three colors (blue, orange and lime) from the Ville de Laval promotional campaign.

New branding strategy for Le Samuel

It’s at Le Samuel on November 25th, that A2 Design celebrated Christmas and launched their first Recognition Gala – Tribute to our employees. In fact, it’s under the theme ‘’Black White Red’’ that our whole team spent our Christmas day 2011..... as they came in to work a Christmas magic spell had struck ..... decorations, gifts, Christmas music , fragrance of apple cinnamon , champagne, delicious pastries, quiz ...... everything was there so we could be under the Christmas spirit !

As soon as we landed in our sled along the Richelieu River, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail followed by a wonderful four course meal expertly prepared by well known chef Pierre Dufour and his brigade. Geneviève and Valerie expertly hosted this gala , giving out to each employee an award summing up what the employee stands for. Each winner needed to address the crowd, emotional moments, laughter on the menu. As soon as our desert was done and everybody had their award, poof ! ...... high heels came off and dancing was on ! Laughter, hugs, kisses, all around craziness we rocked down the house ! When the clock struck twelve, our sled was there waiting, all warm and cozy to take us safely back home !

A new dining experience in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu

Tuesday, 11 october 2011

New branding strategy for Le Samuel A real institution in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu for 30 years, the restaurant Le Samuel offers a new dining experience for their customers; superb food, impressive wine list and outstanding service. All of these elements come full circle into an innovated design that is at the same time elegant, sophisticated and contemporary. Starting with the faux-concrete wall, by the steel laminated panels walls, to the reclaimed bar wood, the outstanding atmosphere is heightened by the lighting effects of LED which enhance each of the four zones of the restaurant; the dining room, the lounge bars, the bars and tasting area and the magnificent outside terrace overseeing the canal Richelieu. We opted for a sensible mixture of rough and contemporary materials in warm tones punctuated with gold accents which tailors to sophisticated and a “chic” looking concept. Current and timeless color schemes and materials....a recipe for a perfect balance. By defining the customer experience as the starting point, it is then effortless for us to create the DNA of the brand: the logo, stationary, slogan, gift card, VIP card, exterior and interior signage, coasters, menu, dinnerware, even the selection of fragrances at the entrance and in washrooms, nothing is left unturned, all the senses will be sought...an ultimate customer experience guiding you in every step.... a perfect synergy.

A2 Design to Develop Branding Strategy for New Mazda Dealership

Wednesday, 20 july 2011

New branding strategy for MazdaWith construction well underway for a new Mazda location for Domaine Mazda, A2 Design’s marketing team is revving up their engines and getting ready to turn up the excitement for Mazda fans and new customers in the Pointe aux Trembles market.

As part of its integrated design strategy that encompasses all aspects of the dealership’s architecture and interior design, A2 will also develop and implement the third phase of the solution – in the form of an all-new branding program. The branding program actually began with the decision to change the name, from Domaine Mazda to Mazda Pointe-aux-Trembles. From there, A2 will design a new logo and a complete corporate identity program, which will include signage, interior and exterior graphics, stationery, business cards, etc. The “look and feel” of the brand will also be extended across Mazda Pointe-aux-Trembles’ future advertising and promotions.

A2 marketing director Chantal Myre explains that A2’s end goal is to create a consistent, unified brand “signature” that reflects his team’s talent, energy and dedication. “With this new location, the owner, Stéphane St-Louis, wants to send a powerful message to the marketplace,” says Chantal. “From day one, his objective was to create an environment, and a customer experience, that reflects the very highest standards of service, value and ongoing satisfaction. We were inspired by his vision, and that’s what informs our strategy, not only for the branding, but also for our interior design strategy and for the architecture with Marc Lafontaine Architecte firm. Everything works together to create the brand’s overall unity.” Construction began in early July following the official groundbreaking ceremony in June, and the new location is scheduled to open in the winter of 2011-12.
